NEWS The Canteen will reopen on Tuesday 5th
May. It will not be open during the first week of term 2. Upcoming Events

Principal’s News:
The West Ryde Easter
Parade and Fair last Saturday was a great success. Thank you to all parents
who brought their children to join the parade. Our school won the prize of
$1,000 for being the best school in the parade. This was donated by the West
Ryde Chamber of Commerce that organized the parade. Our message about
recycling was a very important one. Thank you to Mrs Boyd for organizing this
theme. Thank you also to all families who donated cakes for our cake stall.
We sold all the cakes by 2pm (well done volunteers who sold the cakes). The Easter Egg raffle
draw will be tomorrow morning (Wednesday April 8). There are 30 packages to
be won. The Easter Christian
Service was held today. All families whose children attended will be
receiving a DVD by Colin Buchanan about the Christian Easter message. I hope all students
and their families have a peaceful and restful Easter break. Dear Parents, 1. School
returns for all students on Wednesday
29th April. 2. Next term
we are beginning work on our whole school musical “Blue Ribbon Belle”. It is
set in a country agricultural show just like the Sydney Royal Easter Show at
Homebush this school holidays. You might like to take your child/children
along to experience this great Australian event. What a wonderful outing for
all the family. Information can be found at www.eastershow.com.au 3. Vacation
Care Activities will be held at school during the upcoming April holidays.
