Principal’s News:

This term will feature a focus on further developing student learning which will be reported on at the end of the term with the Mid Year report. This will be sent home on Monday 6th July.

We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for the school cross country yesterday. Our students were very well behaved (as always) and many tried hard to do their best.

Some students need to be fitter to fully enjoy this activity and life in general. Walking or running 2 or 3 times a week or playing sport outside of school is a good way to increase fitness for your child.

Thank you very much all parents who helped at the cross country. Your contribution helped make this such a great success.

There are a number of children coming to school before 8:30am. This should not happen because there is no supervision. If you child arrives at school early you will be contacted and requested that your child does not arrive before 8:30am. If you need to drop your child at school before 8:30am you should enroll them at After School Care

phone on 9858 5114.

Next week all students in Year 3 and Year 5 will be tested in Literacy and Numeracy as part of the National Testing Program (NAPLAN). All students in Years 3 and 5 across Australia take this test. This year we go international with one of our students being tested in Bangladesh.

Dear Parents,

1.    The Mothers’ Day Breakfast will be held tomorrow morning starting at 8am under the cola (where the students line up in the morning.) If it is raining we may need to relocate but meet at the cola.

2.    The Mothers’ Day Stall has been changed to Thursday 7th May. The Mothers’ Day raffle will still be drawn on Friday.
