Principal’s News:
What a fantastic team effort by the Senior Netball team in going
through the season undefeated and winning the Grand Final
24-11.Congratulations to GiSu Kim, Abbie Robertson, Anushka Dashputre, Kavisha
Shah, Tanvi Patel, Vivian Lin, Alyssa Tan, Elice Kim, Emma Lavington and
their coach Mrs Kellerman. Tanvi was
also a member of the competitive debating team. Painting of the
outside of buildings and the classrooms for A and F blocks begins next week.
This will mean that classes will be temporarily relocated within the school
during this time which will be for approximately 6-8 weeks including the
October holidays. Next week classes will
be busily rehearsing for our musical spectacular ‘Blue Ribbon Belle’. The
only performance will be on Wednesday September 16 at 1pm. On Thursday, I will be
accompanying our school student leaders Anushka Dashputre, Rahul Mital,
Kavisha Shah and Vanessa Feng to State Parliament House for a tour and
afternoon tea with our local State Member Mr Victor Dominello. Dear Parents, 1. The Fathers’
Day Breakfast will be held this Thursday September 3 from 7:30am. All dads,
granddads etc and their children are welcome to attend. Also on Thursday the
Fathers’ day raffle will be drawn, students can wear country and western gear
for our dress up day and we will be visited by a Monster Truck. 2. Don’t
forget the P&C Working Bee Saturday, September 12 and the P&C meeting
on Wednesday September 9. |
