Principal’s News:

Blue Ribbon Belle was a spectacular performance with all items most enjoyable and entertaining. Our students were all outstanding and an Academy Award should go to each one of them. Thank you to all parents who helped with costumes and to Mrs Thompson the Director/Producer of the show.

The Family Bush Dance tomorrow night (Wednesday September 30) will be a lot of fun for all the school community. Food will be available under the COLA from 5:45pm with the dance starting in the hall at 6:30pm. Children should not attend the dance without an adult to supervise them. Congratulations to Mrs Dugal, Ms Laidlaw and Mrs Jolliffe for organizing this event.

The school painting is progressing well with the upstairs classrooms and exterior of F Block finished and 3 classrooms (5/6A, 5/6L, 5/6B) in A Block also completed. The painting will continue over the holidays.

The painting is being done by RCZ Master Painters who can be contacted on 0412 558 865.

A member of our victorious netball team was also Elice Kim.

The students in Years 5 and 6 have just returned from their Myuna Bay camp which was a fun and educational experience despite needing to be inside on the dust storm day. Thank you to Ms Blake, Mr Logan, Mrs Thompson, Mrs Lesic and Mrs Yeoh (Nathan’s mum) who accompanied the students.

Well what a busy term it has been. All students have earned the holiday in which to relax and have fun. School returns on Monday October 19.

Dear Parents,

1. You are welcome to attend the Granny Smith Festival on Saturday 17^th October. Your child can march with the school starting at 10am. Our school dance group will be performing at 11:55am on the Trelawney Street Stage.

2. There are still vacancies for the Vacation Care Programme for the school holidays.

3. The P&C will be meeting in Week 1 of Term 4 on Wednesday October 21

4. Enrolments for Kindergarten 2010 are now being taken. Please see the office for an application form.
