Principal’s News:
Term 4 is going to be
extremely busy with all the usual activities such as school photos, kindy orientation, presentation day, Year 6 farewell etc
all scheduled into a very short term of eight and a half weeks. Please note that the last day for
students is Wednesday December 16.
Yearly Reports will be sent home on Monday December 14. Painting continued over the holidays and the school is looking good.
All classrooms have been finished. The last stages of the work are the
corridors in A block downstairs and the hall. We were very successful at the Granny Smith festival winning the
school parade prize (shield and $300) and our dance group performing. Well
done Mrs Marcelle Smith
and Mrs Boyd and the parent helpers for the
stunning costumes. Enrolments for Kindergarten next year are very strong with 60
applications received to date. Kindy orientation
days are on Wednesdays, 18/11 and 25/11/09. Dear Parents, LIBRARY NEWS Just a reminder to
return all overdue library books (keep searching). There is a
reward for students who return their overdue books before
Week 3. All borrowing ends in
Week 5 and all books need to be returned by Friday, 27th
November. BUSH DANCE NEWS Thank you to all the
parents who helped and came along to make the Bush Dance
enjoyable and successful. We do hope that you all had a great time and the
funds raised will be used to buy resources for the students. On Thursday, 29th
October at recess time we will be selling chilled drinks and
snacks (left over from the bush dance). The drinks will be $1 and the snacks 50c. SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS Please ensure your
child is wearing full summer uniform. |
